C O L L I D I N G

Today, Rishi and I spent our evening planning and putting together looks for our upcoming shoot. We met with the beautiful sisters - Ritika Shah & Ruchita Shah, the photographer and model (respectively) team of content creators behind H a n n a n. In between fittings with Ruchita, I couldn't help but zone out for a moment. My mind had taken a step back from reality; a room full of laughter, warmth and uplifting energy. It raced back to when we began the process of conceptualising HANNAN's first shoot. Rishi and I spent days talking about, debating over, and incessantly going...

Bhaavya Bhatnagar Accidental Icon Cafe Grumpy Chelsea Inspiration Journey Lyn Slater New York Stories

your chance is 'today'

Contrary to it's name, the atmosphere was filled with inspiring energy and uplifting sounds of chatter and giggles. In it's secret garden was a table for four.  From stumbling upon Icon Accidental, wishfully writing a (fan) mail, to sitting on that table for four had been quite surreal. the H A N N A N experience

At H A N N A N, the art of giving constantly permeates through the creative process. We aspire to add joy in receiving by carefully curating an experience. Taking forward our philosophy of juxtaposing traditional with modern, the H A N N A N box is finished with a raw silk fabric, playing with dimension and shape, hand-crafted by skilled artisans. A half-moon shaped piece is cut separately with a saw and is then placed on the lid. Our most discerning craftsman, Afsar, carefully but effortlessly uses sandpaper to create the dome-like illusion which gently merges with the lid.      ...

why H A N N A N is

HANNAN is... a little bit of magic. Somewhere in the infinite galaxy, there was a star. It sparkled with a spirit that transcended the limits of the universe, lending it's shine to a world so absorbed in acts of the daily. H A N N A N aspires to preserve a little bit of that shine through it's being. A celebration of the little things, it is an honest expression of the evocative sights that effortlessly add magic to our lives._________________________________________________H A N N A N is... free spirited.Uncultivated by conformities, H A N N A N flourishes where a...

what H A N N A N is

Rishi Baweja

what H A N N A N is

Hannan (pronunciation; hun-naan) // what brewed between two cappuccinos and a masala chai. Now, you’re thinking – that’s pretty standard, right? Caffè e tè, to each his own. Only in this case, the nuances go well beyond one’s imagination. Chai has long dominated the households of India, and our beloved craftsmen swear by it, the same way we do for coffee. That’s quite alright, though. There’s always a binding factor, isn’t it? Caffeine speaks a universal language, and we continue to coexist. One less reason to go to war. Voilà.   I realize by now, this sounds more like an in-depth...
